Join us for a talk with Dr. Mike Mackert as he shares what good health communication problem solving looks like. Hosted by TEPHI and the UTHealth Houston School of Public Health-Department of Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences, this webinar also offers an in-person option for Houston area guests at the UTHealth School of Public Health (1200 Pressler St, Houston, TX) in room W102B. Dr. Mackert is the Director of the Center for Health Communication at The University of Texas at Austin. His research focuses primarily on the strategies that can be used in traditional and new digital media to provide effective health communication to low health literate audiences. He is the author of more than 100 peer-reviewed journal publications and the book “Designing Effective Health Messages.”
