FIFA World Cup Preparations & Monitoring [Archived]

DSHS has launched a free physician 24/7 consultative service hotline staffed by adult and pediatric infectious disease specialists within the University of Texas Health System as part of ongoing preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup games in Texas.

The hotline will be available by calling 866-213-3368 to assist physicians and other clinicians who request support in diagnosis, management, and/or public health navigation for suspected infections during the 2026 FIFA World Cup events beginning today through July 31, 2026. Please see the DSHS World Cup Infectious Disease Consultation Hotline flyer for additional details.

The National Center for Health Security and Resilience Health Security Operations Center provides daily situation reports for the World Cup.
